#LetYourMottoBeResistance The order of the day calls for organizing on a massive scale. We have to understand that the US settler-colonial state in many fundamental ways cannot be reformed. And given the state of the capitalist world system, there arent many reforms or compromises the state can make to soften the hard oppressive edges of the system to maintain order, it cannot make millions of high paying jobs, nor can it provide millions of buy-in rewards to divide the working class. So, we have to ask ourselves: Where do we think the non-compliant “shut it down” movement should go from here? What does it need to do to consolidate its base? What does it need to do to keep expanding its base? What are its aims and objectives? What is its theory of change? What transformative demands should it be making? What strategies and tactics should it pursue going forward? Here are some suggestions towards the organizing imperatives and demand formulation that we offer for the movement to consider.
