Lille Vs Marseille Lille continue their amazing run of form as they sit 2nd, in between big spenders PSG & Monaco. 10 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats with just 4 goals scored in 15 games! Lille have won 6 and drawn 1 of the last seven, scoring 9 but not conceding a single goal! Lille beat Valenciennes at the weekend in another 1-0 and did it with 10 men for over 30 minutes as Frank Beria was sent off. Two starters out for Lille with Marvin Martin and Ryan da Graca are also missing. Marseille play their third game within a week and may be feeling the effects here. They have had a very poor Champions League, losing all five games in a group of death with Napoli, Arsenal & Dortmund. In the Ligue 1 they are sitting in 4th with 8 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. Recent form is a little mixed with 3 wins 1 draw and 3 defeats. Out for Marseille are Rod Fanni and Andre Ayew. I take Lille to continue their amazing run and would not put it past them to shut out Marseille. Beria will be a loss at right back but I think they can continue without him. I expected Marseille to struggle a little after a two day break from champions league right into Ligue 1 action on Friday but they were too good for Montpellier. I think Lille will prove their worth here today though. Prediction: Lille win 2-0
