*Long - read if you have the time* I say this because of some - TopicsExpress

*Long - read if you have the time* I say this because of some of the conversations Ive had recently; also according to some of the things Ive heard or read from people altogether, in my recent walking in the Lord: I believe in studying deeply in scripture - I believe in testing the spirits and proving what is good and true - I believe that there are many false prophets and false teachers in the world - and again I believe in studying to show ourselves approved unto God, being a workman, not having any shame rightly dividing the Word of Truth; I really do. But, I say this without reservation - many people are studying with methodical mindsets based out of teachings and belief of dead faith believers, who had a form of Godliness but denied the power. Im not saying any one person is better at studying than another, in particular - but, there are certainly people who go further in study; who seek for more resources to aide study; who are more analytical and well thought out in their outlines and such - many more who scholastically passed with flying colors, whereas others scholastically are failures because they couldnt focus much on the technical additions to the curriculum which did not further the actual educating of the person - so, is one better because he took greater steps in scholarly research? Or the other because they attained great wisdom and knowledge just from experiences? None is better in any of those things on the premise of those things in themselves - Paul was a pharisee and Peter was a mere fishermen, but, both got the understanding and revelation through Christ, and were filled with the Holy Spirit, having great and synonymous truth from God, in the same Spirit and same heart in Christ Jesus - believing God, having broad unbiased teaching (in the sense of revelation). Paul, also did not actually walk with Jesus with the other Apostles, but Peter did - so we see, it has everything to do with Christ, and fully being submitted to Him in mind, studying, heart, in truth and Spirit worshipping God, giving Him all glory, but, not feeble, yet meek - having confidence towards God and a good conscience towards God and men. Where is this today in this great mass of mouth professors ? Who can understand this? Being learned and unlearned have no bearing in the scholastic ideology or in the back yard preacher ideology - neither can make you or I any greater - but, we are in Christ, and He teaches us all things and leads us into all truth by the anointing in in His Spirit - amen. Time and effort of our own means, means nothing. In Christ in God alone. Obedience. Glory to our Lord Jesus and Father God. Hallelujah.
