-Long Island, New York A Long Island couple Farrukh Baig and Bushra Baig have pleaded guilty for exploiting immigrant workers at their 7-Eleven stores. The owners will repay the workers over $2 million dollars and Farrukh will be sentenced to 10 years in prison for concealing and harboring undocumented workers for financial gain. According to Newsday, they are among the 11 7-Eleven owners and managers to be arrested for allegedly forcing immigrants to work long hours up to 100 a week and deducting their pay.
