***MACYS LARCENY LEADS TO FELONY ARRESTS*** On December 23rd at approximately 7:30 pm, the New Hartford Police responded to Macy’s Department Store for a larceny complaint. After speaking with the Macy’s Loss Prevention, the police learned that two Hispanic females had stolen over $1,000.00 worth of clothing and then fled in a vehicle that was waiting for them directly outside the store. After an investigation, one of the suspects was identified as 39 year-old Maria M. Guillermo, of Nichols St. in the City of Utica. The second suspect was later identified through the New Hartford Police Department Facebook page, as 22 year-old Ana J. Reinoso Barz, of Bleeker St in the City of Utica. Guillermo was charged on December 29th , with 1 count of Grand Larceny in the 4th, which is a Class E Felony. Reinoso Barz was on December 31st, with 1 count of Grand Larceny in the 4th, Forgery 2nd, a Class D Felony, and False Personation, a Class B Misdemeanor, after providing a false last name and affixing it to an FBI print card. Reisnoso Barz was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court and remanded to to Oneida County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or Bond.
