* MANILA, Philippines – San Mig Coffee’s James Yap and Petron Blaze’s Alex Cabagnot shared the Player of the Week plum for towing their respective teams to the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals. Yap and Cabagnot were chosen as co-awardees for the period September 30 to October 7, according to the league website. Cabagnot averaged 15.5 points, 5.25 rebounds and 4.25 assists per game while leading the Boosters in their semifinals joust against erstwhile champion Rain or Shine.
