[MARK YOUR CALENDAR] Date: Sunday, February 23. Time: 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM. Location: YWCA. Target audience: College women graduating and preparing to begin their professional careers. Registration: Junior League of Honolulu website. Cost: $15 (lunch). Purpose: This event will assist young women graduating from college and beginning their professional careers. The event will begin with an opening session and will then break into individual sessions to address Resume and Cover Letter Writing, SocialMedia Dos and Donts, Networking/Community Support, Dressing for Success, and Interview Preparation. Lunch will be provided for participants along with a special key note speaker. The event will end with Mock Interviews with professionals from different career fields to help women prepare for career specific questions they may receive during an interview. Prizes will be given away to women to include attire that will help them dress for success during their first professional interviews.
