Markovic was our savior as his early 9th minute opener won us the game. The Reds have an impressive record at Villa Park, winning 10 of their last 16 Premier League visits, losing just once in that run. Raheem Sterling has not played for a fortnight so hes fresh to cause Aston Villa problems. Steven Gerrad and Adam Lallana both face late fitness tests, the captain is the more optimistic hope of featuring in this game. Daniel Sturridge has returned to training but this game will be too early for the English man to feature in. Liverpool will again be hoping to find some good form which I believe they would. Our defensive woes has started becoming a thing of the past and I hope we keep a clean sheet today like we did in our previous game.
