“MAY THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN BHUTAN AND CHINA LAST - TopicsExpress

“MAY THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN BHUTAN AND CHINA LAST FOREVER”! Funnily enough, many of us chose to believe that the mere handshake between the former premiers of Bhutan and China, on 21st June 2012 at the sidelines of Rio Summit, was something very ominous. So even in this case, before you start incriminating me in a similar vein, let me clarify the source of the statement. I saw this on the banner the Chinese Cultural Troupe of Quangxi province displayed during one of their acrobatic performances on the stage of Royal Institute of Management last weekend. But of course the statement was very touching! Perhaps more stirring than the mind-blowing, almost super-human feats of balance and agility in gymnastics the troupe exhibited. May be because it came from people most Bhutanese rarely get to see for real let alone know despite being so close geographically and racially. YOU SHOULD HAVE WATCHED THEM PERFORM LIVE TO SEE WHAT IT FELT LIKE! =D =D =D
