#MCC crews are it again, this time making improvements to BLM recreation facilities in the HiLine District. The crew, working with #BLM_MTDKs HiLine District Outdoor Recreation Planner Kathy Tribby, sanded and painted the tables and cabanas at Buffs Day Use Area, which is part of the Camp Creek Recreation Area in the Little Rocky Mountains near Zortman, Mont., managed by the Malta Field Office. They also built a new jack-leg fence around part of the Buffs Area and installed a new fire pit. In Camp Creek Campground they repaired a sign and replaced the backboards on the horseshoe pits. Then they moved over to the Glasgow Field Offices area in Valley County and installed a picnic table and BBQ grill at Glasgow Off-Highway Vehicle Area, removed weeds from the campsites at Troika and helped transplant some willows for erosion control.
