****MEETING WITH SENATOR BOB DAY - SEPTEMBER 10TH**** We have a meeting with Senator Bob Day confirmed for Wednesday September 10th at 10:40am at his Adelaide office. he was contacted in early July after he took his seat. Since then we have found out, much to our surprise, that he opposes most of what is in the budget, including the cut to Newstart for job-seekers under 30 (though mainly because he seems to think that lowering wages and conditions would be much more helpful for unemployed people). Anyway, we have a meeting with him next month. We should work out who will be going to see him and chat about strategy and what we want from the meeting as the date approaches...
