*MEMBER SEEKING ADVICE* I have lived with a guy for a year and a half. He seemed like the perfect man in the beginning. Being with him after a few months things began to get awful. If I wasnt home from work in exactly 15 mins I was accused of cheating. If anyone in my family talked to me he wanted to hear. If cars drove down the road while we were in bed he said it was my boyfriends and would start yelling. He took my phone almost every day. I couldnt use the bathroom without him kicking the door in thinking I was talking to men. He locked me in my room at night and didnt allow me to go even get something to drink without fussing. He has pushed me into walls and pulled knives on me and choked me several times and left awful bruises on my arms. Last night he was locked up on CDV and where I live the state pressed the charges. Victims dont have a choice. Why do I still feel that he can change and still think of him being so loving bc even though he has these mood swings he is still very affectionate and loving. He is only psychical occasionally, but always controlling thinking I am cheating. Can people like this change or do I need to run for the hills before he gets released?
