*****MIAs OWNER HAD NO TIME FOR HER, SO NOW SHE WILL PAY THE PRICE WITH HER LIFE***** We’ve always felt that adopting a pet is for keeps, for better or worse, but apparently our city is flooded with people who think dogs are disposable. MIA is only 2-years old and already she’s been treated like a windup toy that can be tossed aside when the owner tires of energizing his toy. MIA’s owner refuses to face the truth that MIA is a living being with sensitive feelings of her own. He refuses to see that MIA has become inextricably attached to him and that she will most likely die in this wretched shelter. You can see that MIA is a clear eyed lass of just over 50-pounds. She’s a beautiful and friendly girl who is just a tad anxious in this strange and scary building in which she’s been caged. MIA doesn’t know that tomorrow is her last chance at love. She’ll be choking down her last bowl of kibble at dusk tonight. Dogs like MIA - well, most don’t make it out alive. If you know someone who would be interested in MIA, please tell them to hurry...
