#MIKEANDMOLLY (cbs): this show was very well liked by many, but some have criticized the current season b/c the humor in it has changed w/ molly being more physical-comedy than before and stuff like that. idk, i personally dont mind the physical comedy aspect lol. if anything, this season i can relate to her cuz she was a teacher who wanted to pursue writing and then developed writers block and has been doing everything BUT writing now, getting herself into all kinds of shenanigans while mike has to sit back and watch, struggling to support her thru this. i went thru a similar process, i was a daycare teacher which i loved doing, then i wanted to pursue writing, and developed writers block just like molly, except im not doing a shitload of shenanigans like her lol.. anyway, sometimes the humor in the show is particularly raunchy/tasteless i must admit, thanks to mikes mom in the show.. and theres some weed/drunk jokes thanks to mollys sister and mother lol... but besides all that, and probably b/c of that, i still enjoy the show. i admit tho, the intro theme song took awhile to adjust to, cuz i loved the simplicity and sweetness of the original they used to have. now that its all peppy, i had to get used to that lol. also, another thing that bothers me kinda is that mike and molly continue to live in mollys moms house. granted, her sister still lives there too, but shes single and wild.. whereas molly is married to mike and they should be living on their own! theyve been in her bdrm, the basement, and back to her bdrm.. SMH. anyway, in case u dont know about the show, it stars mike/billy gardell (a cop) and molly/melissa mccarthy (basically struggling writer now). as i said, they live w/ her family and theres various funny co-stars such as mikes cop partner, mollys sister who regularly uses weed and drinks like mollys mom. in this epi, harry (someone mike and molly met in their overeaters anon group) moved out of his house w/ his mom and decided to move in w/ molly, mike, and the family lol. this house is getting beyond full! various cast members decided to showcase their talents on a small stage. mollys sister, victoria & mikes cop partner, carl, sang a song together.. and their friend does a lil stand up :). oh and mollys moms partner, vince decided to explore his enjoyment of doing womens hair which had some interesting results lol! so, eh this particular epi wasnt totally grabbing me or making me laugh, it became more background noise lol, but some epis r just filler epis! this is still a great show IMO. it has its heartfelt and funny moments, like right now, mike is singing a song in dedication to his wife, molly, whos getting teary awwwwww :)
