► MINERAL PROCESSING ENGINEER / METALLURGIST Dome Gold Mines Ltd (ASX:DME) undertakes mineral exploration and project development activities in Fiji. It is now preparing to obtain a mining licence over its Sigatoka Iron sand project in Fiji and to proceed to prepare feasibility studies and ultimately a dredge mining & wet mineral processing operation. Dome is seeking a Mineral Processing Engineer/Metallurgist experienced in heavy mineral mining & processing with particular experience with magnetite concentrate recovery. The successful applicant will be expected to spend considerable periods of time in Fiji during the mining licence application and acquisition stage. They will work with a small team to prepare documentation and presentation materials and participate in presentations to Mineral Resources Department, other government agencies and stakeholders. The initial period of the assignment is 3 months, however, assuming the project progresses to the development stage, there is potential for permanent employment at senior management level. In addition to an attractive remuneration package Dome will pay reasonable travel expenses and provide accommodation and meals while onsite in Fiji.
