********* MOTHER - The LIFE revolves around their CHILDREN ********* -- When I joined AFMC pune, way back in 1984,,,, Then I used to feel very home sick because I had never been outside my home in my life…. Anyhow,,, seeing the happiness on my parents face,,, I accepted and tried to adjust. ---- Used to cry a lot, whenever I was alone,,, LIFE WAS STRESSFUL…. But life passed…. Luckily the ragging was the only way which used to make me busy…. GOOD QUALITY ragging…. Nothing physical…. Now I feel,,,, The QUALITY RAGGING made me , what I am today.... All credit to my seniors..... ---- LETTERS were the main thing which made us close to our family members. We used to wait anxiously for the letter,,, because there was no era of mobiles, net, facebook, whatsap etc….. Everyday, before lunch,,,,, we used to wait for the postman….If there was no letter,,, then No lunch…A BAD DAY ----- If there was a letter,,, then it was the most fruitful day… Read each and every words again and again… Emotions all around,, used to smile,,, used to cry,,, used to jump,, Celebration with friends by having CHAI and SAMOSA....Total excitement, difficult to explain. …. Night time,,, busy replying the letters to everyone. So much involvement, so much fun. So much commitment. ----- I do remember, My mother writing,,, that she will make chicken and good food,, when I will visit home next…. In my absence, No good food will be prepared at home...Because Non veg foods were supposed to be the most sought after item those days. I used to think,,, what Rubbish??????... Why the hell, somebody will not have good food at home for so many months. Why my mother and father are waiting for me for good food?????.... NEVER GOT THE ANSWERS.. ------ After almost 30 years,,,,,,, have got the answer… With Akriti also in Delhi now for her studies….. There is No charm of Delicious food… No special food at HOME….. Heard manisha talking to akriti,,,, That in her next visit to home,,, She will cook good food and we will have those delicious food together. Till that time,,, very simple food at home….. -- Akriti innocently asked,,,, WHY MUMMY ????? Why after so many days?????? ******** May be she will get the answer when she becomes a MOTHER….. TIME has changed,,,,,,, But the Love and Affection of all mothers are the same..
