#MSwx - Good Evening Mississippi! After some bumpy weather this afternoon, weve started to calm down this evening but heavy rain and flooding are still a concern as we head into the overnight hours. Some areas are estimated to have received as much as 3-4 inches of rainfall or more in the past few hours, and numerous reports of flooding have been reported. Well continue to see localized flooding throughout the overnight before we start to clear back out tomorrow. As skies clear out, temperatures will fall quickly. Well see a high just after midnight tonight in the upper-50s, dropping all day tomorrow, and down into the upper-20s by Monday morning. Sadly, even colder air will push our way by the middle of this work week as a strong, arctic high pushes into the Midwest. This will bring us some of our coldest temperatures of the season thus far with overnight lows into the TEENS by Thursday morning! Keep those winter coats handy!
