**MUSLIM CHRISTIAN DAWAH--(note-- From a MUSLIM to a CHRISTIAN- series 3- resumes tomorrow In_shaa_Allaah) ** Reaching out to the Christians with dawah The first priority in any outreach is to begin with a right relationship with God. We must begin by recognizing that we cannot reach the non-Muslim on our own. No matter how well we know the most effective ways to share our faith, unless we allow the Allah to guide our thoughts, words, and actions, our conversation will probably be unproductive. For Allah says in Q28: 56 Indeed, you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided. ***Indeed, some Christians have prejudice and fear of Muslims, so we must carefully examine our motives and beliefs, and ask God to purify our hearts and attitudes. Dont be unnecessarily argumentative nor confrontational... but always be ready to make them feel comfortable learning about islaam. The next priority for successful outreach is to prepare by understanding Islam well,and then trying to appreciate Christian presuppositions, beliefs misconceptions about Islam etc and understanding ways to make the Quran understandable and relevant to the Christian.(HIKMAH) We need to be aware of barriers that might prevent a Christians from hearing the message, as well as points of contact that can generate their interest in the deen In_shaa_Allaah . May Allah grant us hikmah in this regard and bless us with leading many to the truth of Islam
