======MY NOTED RUNNERS FOR SATURDAYS RACING====== ================================================= Some really good racing today and you can just tell the NH season is in full swing now, the Fairyhouse card looks a minefield as ever! :-D but i will attempt to try and highlight horses from all the meetings today with multiple runners in some races too and a f/c tricast will be played by me,, As most know i do not really consider myself a `tipster` as such, more of a pundit / or observation station on the racing as i try and spot horses who in MY OPINION look to have something to offer in the coming weeks/months ahead, but will it be today? PLEASE REMEMBER I TRY AND LOOK FOR VALUE TOO IF I CAN. So here they are... ================================================ =============================== 12.00 Haydock.. SLEEPY HAVEN 9/2 win =============================== Noted last term as one that would improve for racing and by the end of last term this one was just getting its act together, very consistent and punished for being so, a good effort on its return to action and highly tried too, this looks more realistic today and the tongue tie back on today and that first run will have put this one spot on for this i feel and when CIRCUS STAR goes off at a good pace it will set this up perfectly here in my opinion for sleepy.. =============================================== =============================== 12.05 Fairyhouse.. LEGAL EXIT 25/1 e/w =============================== 2 Noted here.. LEGAL EXIT was noted over hurdles before suffering a setback and this Irish point-to-point winner is considered a better chasing prospect in my opinion, this gelding achieved a fair level of form last season over the smaller obstacles winning twice in four starts until coming unstuck in Grade 1 company on its final start, this one is a lovely `BIG, CHASING TYPE` who will no doubt be a better chaser in time and at the price today could be a little bit of value here for a place against the red hot fav.. MINELLA FORU @16/1 was noted as a potential `supreme novice` horse last term and one that has plenty of natural ability and a good level of form over hurdles, this one has been quietly ridden over fences so far and i feel is a good deal better than the level of form shown so far and is a good `value` alternative e/w selection if anyone fancies this one today, the going for me could be the issue as i feel better going could suit better, but that is just my opinion on that.. ================================================= =================================== 12.30 Haydock.. DE FAOITHESDREAM 4/1 win =================================== Noted 3 runs back when winning and now this one looks to have a good chance to get back to winning ways, in a more suitable race than the last 2 events, this one will enjoy the drop in class today and the heavy going will suit well too in my opinion although 10lbs higher than its last win it did run well off 127 to finish close on good going which would not have suited, so i feel the rise in the ratings will not be enough to stop this one going well today.. ================================================ ==================================== 12.35 Fairyhouse.. NOBLE EMPEROR 11/4 win (NAP) ==================================== Noted last term and this is what i have noted about this one, a BIG galloping type who won very easy, looks very classy and a chaser in the making too, i can see this one being a very good chaser this term and one that will hopefully progress as the season goes on, entitled to need the run on return and will be much sharper for this run after not being knocked about at all on its first rub and looks to have a great chance here.. ================================================ ======================== 12.45 Ascot.. RASCAL 6/1 e/w ======================== Noted on its last run and win, this one impressed with its front running win at Southwell, this one left some modest form well behind when stepping up to 3miles for the first time, i can see this one wining a few races now as staying looks to be this one forte, hopefully this one will try and lead again here as this stiff track can often suit front runners, great chance of doubling up here on wins. ================================================ ============================== 2.00 Lingfield.. MYMATECHRIS 3/1 win ============================== Noted on its last run and win, this one is progressing really well and has more to offer here after not having the run of the race the last day when meeting trouble in running but still managing to win with something to spare, this looks a little tougher here but one i feel is still well treated and the 4timer looks a real possible for this one here today. =============================================== ================================== 2.10 Fairyhouse.. SKEHANA BRIDGE 4/1 win ================================== Noted being given an easy time of it a couple of time now and one i posted up the last day @a tasty 50/1 when 2nd placed, that was a day they were trying and it could be the day to get the win, a big galloping type and sometimes a slightly awkward jumper who will be suited to the track here, must go close today in a weak looking race. =========================== 2.25 Ascot.. DELL´ ARCA 14/1 e/w =========================== Noted last term and one i felt would have gone onto to be a real star over hurdles but just fell short of what i felt this one could have achieved, sent novice chasing this term on its 2 starts and again not much to shout about here, a switch back to hurdles today will hopefully see a little improvement here, just 5yrs old and open to improvement, but will need to on the rating as the betting suggests, but this Group 1 related horse could out run its odds stepping up in trip here today, not one to go mad about as a little to prove here but one i feel has more to offer this term. =============================================== ============================= 2.50 Newcastle.. LAC SACRE 6/1 e/w ============================= Noted last term when an easy winner at Ffos las and one that looked to be a very progressive type in the making and more would come from this one, sent chasing this term and one that could be very nicely treated on handicap debut after just one start in a chase, interesting runner here with the trip&going likely to suit very well today.. =============================================== ================================ 3.00 Ascot.. THE YOUNG MASTER 3/1 win ================================ 2 noted here.. THE YOUNG MASTER was noted a couple of runs back now and one that just keeps on improving and improving, a very good winner of the badgers ale trophy only to be disqualified, up in the ratings by a stone here but just 5yrs old and one that jumps for fun and never touched a twig that day, one of the best jumpers of a fence i have seen for a number of years for one so young and i can see this one going really well here and i have a feeling this one could go all the way to the top this season and shock a few people with how good this one could possibly be.. SOUND INVESTMENT was noted when winning at Sandown, that was some performance form top weight that day and will be winning more races for sure on that evidence, forget the last run as it was not run to suit at all and was a bit of a tactical event, there should be truer pace here in my opinion and this one can sit out the back and creep closer in the latter stages to pounce late on and no surprise to see this one go well here and the r/fc will be played. ================================================== ================================== 3.30 Ascot.. GOODWOOD MIRAGE 18/1 e/w ================================== 4 noted here and my usual combo f/c/tricast bet for me.. GOODWOOD MIRAGE @18/1 was noted last term as one of my strongest fancies for the festival only to be brought down mid race, no mistakes on return and won really well at a decent price, tanking along, making a few errors too, so the win and margin of the win was a little better than most give credit for in my opinion, has won on soft going before so hopefully the going will be ok today and one who i feel has plenty more to offer this term with the festival a likely place to end up again. ACTIVIAL was noted last term and one i have noted as being well treated and should be up to winning a decent handicap or 2 this term, the lack of a recent run is off putting for me here in such a hot race and one i will be having an interest in on its next run regardless of the result today but if fully fit for its return can go very well here and no surprise to see this one go close.. CLONDAW WARRIOR was noted behind the one below in the same race at Chelts, this one looked like the winner to me that day for the most part but made a crucial error at the wrong time when just about to mount its challenge, i feel that cost this one the race that day and a much better run can be expected today and could be nicely treated here. GARDE LA VICTOIRE was one i put up the last day at Chelts at a tasty 16/1, ultra consistent and game as a pebble and no surprise to see this one go well again here with everything in its favour, getting a little exposed now and could be in the grip of the handicapper today, and the race here will tell me more about this ones future, but such is the profile of this one it could well progress again being just 5 yrs old and in its prime. I will play the combo bet here as always.. ================================================ So here they are.. my noted runners for racing today... as i said before my confidence has been a little dented with the form taking a little dip the past few post, but as ever i can only post what i track and get through each day..
