#Machakos Finance bill affects all of us. Business fraternity must always be protected. People must pay levies but they should be reasonable. Living standard in Machakos County has gone high, life has become expensive for many residents, living standard going up and yet salaries or rather income remaining constant. We must be on watch; we should not allow the county government to force high levies on our throats. Let’s engage widely, the moment we keep quiet on things that matter, that’s the day our lives begin to end. What does the finance bill mean to us? If the small businesses are forced to pay more, prices of products and services will unquestionably go high. Others will be forced to close businesses hence increasing level of unemployment.
