As of July 2014, Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth is valued at 33.1 billion US dollars. However, he expressed that money was not the driving force in his life, but self-improvement. With that said, what’s amazing is that he assigned himself the salary of just one dollar as Facebook’s CEO. His billions come from his shares. In 2011, Jerusalem Post ranked Mark Zuckerberg as number one in the list of most influential Jews in the world. However, he considers himself as an atheist. An accomplished programmer, Mark Zuckerberg has been involved in other revolutionary projects before Facebook. He programmed Synapse (coveted by Microsoft and AOL), a program that analyzes a user’s music listening habits and can recommend other songs; Course Match, a useful program that helps students decide which course to choose in college; and Facemash (that program from the movie), the controversial predecessor to Facebook that allowed students of Harvard to vote for the most attractive person on campus. Other facts include Mark Zuckerberg as having an unblockable Facebook profile, a four year-old twitter account with only 19 tweets and a Google+ account. His first car was a Subaru Forester SUV.
