**Mahama/NDC n NPA r Wicked; New Fuel Prices is a Cheat; Reduce d Price Now** *Petrol Shd b Sold @ btn 9gh-10gh cedis* By d Automatic Adjustment Formula(AAF), d price of petrol in GH reduces or increases majorly wif respect to(wrt) d rise n fall of d cedis(exchange rate), price of fuel on d international market n minorly wrt to factors such as operation cost, management cost, generation mix etc. Der4 an increase n decrease shd affect d price of petrol hugely n significantly. Note; currently d price of d dollar against d cedis has dropped from 3.8gh to 3.1gh cedis representing 18% reduction, d price of fuel on d international market has also dropped from 109 dollars to 81 dollars representing 26% reduction. Since all d major factors of AFF(Exchange rate n price of fuel per barrel on d international market) have reduced hugely, it shd affect d price of petrol hugely n not d insignificant reduction of d 30gh pesewas(2%) of d price of petrol now. In 2008, under Ku4/NPPs rule, TOR(Tema Oil Refinery) was working n refining d fuel we bought from d international market for us here in GH, fuel wasnt drilled in GH, d cedi to dollar was 1.1gh cedis, d International market price of fuel was 145 dollars per barrel n petrol was sold in GH @ 3.5gh cedis per gallon. In Oct 2014, under Mahama/NDCs rule, TOR isnt working, d BDC(Bulk Distributor Companies) buy d already refined fuel from outside into GH, fuel is now being drilled in GH, d cedi to dollar is 3.1gh cedis, d international market price for fuel is now 81 dollars per barrel n petrol is now sold @ 14.8 gh cedis per gallon. (BDC bringing d refined fuel from outside into GH is more expensive than d fuel being refined by TOR in GH) ANALYSIS if u compare d prices of fuel on d international market in 2008 n 2014, u will find out dat d price of fuel in d international market in 2014 is now a little above half of d price of d international price of fuel in 2008(half of 145 dollars is abt 72.5 dollars which is very near to d 81dollars being sold now). Also d price of dollar now is 3.1gh ba was 1.1gh in 2008. Meaning if d price of fuel on d international market during 2008 was as it is now n dats it being half of d price of fuel now, it would hv been likely ku4 would hv sold d petrol at dat tym @ abt a little above half of hw he sold it then n dat will b abt 2.5gh cedis which is abt more than half of wat he used to sell it(half of 3.5gh=1.75gh) due to d import of fuel directly by BDC from outside which makes d price of petrol a little expensive than refining it here wif TOR. So meaning to get d actual price of petrol now since d dollar was 1.1gh then ba 3.1gh now, it will b wise to multiple d 2.5gh by 3 to get 7.5gh cedis to get its dollar equivalent now. Finally, wif us considering all d minor factors such as generation mix, operation cost, management cost n other minor cost which doesnt affect d price of petrol so hugely it means d petrol now shd b sold @ btn 9-10gh cedis n dats by adding an additional 1.5-2.5gh cedis to d 7.5gh to absorb n cater for all d minor costs n dis will thus repesent a reduction of d current price of petrol by abt btn 40%-33% n not d 2% decrease NPA announced recently. Meaning from ma analysis petrol shd b sold in GH @ btn 9-10gh n not 14.7gh cedis. (NOTE: I used 81 DOLLARS to do my analysis instead of the present price of 75 DOLLARS meaning PETROL should be sold far below the PRICE I have stated in my analysis) *Why Mahama n NPA r Wicked, Cheats n shd reduce d price now* Dey r wicked cus dey hv chosen to sell d petrol to GHians @ a cutthroat price. dey allow GHians to pay for any price increases in d main factors of AFF ba wont reduce it when such prices of same factors go down, all cus most leaders in dis NDC govt r rumoured to own or hv shares in dese BDCs, enjoy in their gains n a reason why most critics feel a reason why d mahama/NDC govt n d NPA don want to reduce d price of petrol whiles its due us n shd rightly b done. #may God b praised nana Kwadwo akwaa
