*** Maleficent *** Meet our latest sweet kitten, Maleficent. We were contacted by the shelter, about this kitten, who wasnt using her back leg, but who was very sweet and loving. We didnt want to leave her overnight, so she took a trip to the vet this evening. As you can see from the X-ray she has a high break in her femur. Thankfully, for once, her pelvis is ok! Unfortunately, due to the position of the break, at present surgery is required to amputate. This will be the third in as many weeks :(. She was leukemia tested, and is negative, which is also great news! The vet estimated her age to be between 10-12 weeks. Like Do~Si~Do, she is young, and will do just fine. If you can spare anything for our new baby, we as always, will be very grateful. Discounted surgery is estimated at $500, on top of tonights visit of around $200. We get caught up, and boom!
