March 14 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider on Film Alfa Romeo has released a 90-second clip showing the creation of the 4C Spider prototype, which was unveiled to the world at the Geneva Motor Show last week. The video, which showcases some of the Spider’s unique details including its titanium and carbon-fibre exhaust outlet, can be viewed here: video.alfaromeopress/p/it/en/alfaromeo/post/30624 It was also announced overnight that the Alfa Romeo 4C coupe will be official safety car of the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). The 4C WTCC safety car will make its debut at the first round of the 2014 championship on April 12-13 at the Moulay El Hassan Circuit in Morocco. It will perform as safety car throughout the 12-round season, which concludes in Macau. Alfa Romeo’s compact supercar also serves as official safety car of the World Superbike Championship and was recently in Australia for the first round of the season at Phillip Island. The road going 4C coupe will launch in Australia later this year, while 4C Spider is slated for local introduction
