Mark Levin talks about how the political party that was once invested in slavery and segregation is now invested in racism and is using it to divide this nation. Remember, outside of the original 13 colonies, the majority of this nation was still occupied and controlled by foreign nations such as France, Spain, and England. When these powers eventually sold that land to the new U.S. government, many of their former subjects were left in America to fend for themselves. These people never agreed with what the founders were trying to accomplish, nor wished to become "Americans," and from day one have been working to undermine everything America stands for. Many of these figures had substantial wealth, especially the aristocracy, and it is that money which led to the founding of political groups that would work within the new U.S. government to achieve those ends. That is the true history of the Progressive Party (now defunct, Progressives are in BOTH parties)...
