#MattsMondayMoan (MV) - abc.net.au/news/2012-11-27/van-egmond-rejects-sydney-fc-offer/4393634 A little under 12 months ago, Sydney FC fired there coach, and straight away, they tried luring jets coach GVE to the helm, the day that we all learnt about this, was when all the tabloids had reported that Gary said no, with CEO Robbie “Gary has made it clear he is remaining loyal and staying here to continue what he has started You were all fapping at the fact that Gary decided to stay, and after he did, we didnt go as well as we had hoped for, Now we are into the new season, one point from two games, it doesnt look tremendous, but i dont think the knives should be out just yet, this weekends game against the Nix should determine how much we want to win this season (It doesnt just depend on this result) but going away especially to a team that we havent got the greatest form against, without our marquee man The negativity from a few of you is really not good to see, whether its at the squadron, the coach, the players, regardless how bad a situation is, we need to get back into being the wind behind our teams back, whoever the coach is, because the more negative, you all are, the worse the whole of Newcastle Football will get. Yesterday you were all acting like we lost 4-0, we didnt even play bad, we just couldnt put the finishing touch on the game, to convert the chances. You guys can keep on acting like drips, but i think we all need to come together when we play the mariners, and do our best to motivate the team, show we are there regardless of the result, because without fans, football is nothing.
