(May 15, 2014 -- 12:50 p.m.) Palomar College remains closed. There are no classes, exams, events or activities at the college, the Escondido Education Center, Camp Pendleton or Fallbrook High School. The bookstore, located at Palomar College in San Marcos will be open today until 2 p.m. and Friday to pick up caps and gowns for the commencement ceremony on Friday, May 16. Students who have missed final exams on Wednesday evening or today because of the emergency will be contacted by their instructors regarding make-up exams, assignments, or other options. At this time, classes, exams, events and activities are scheduled to resume on Friday, May 16. Check the website for any updates.
