-Me: Hi,I am looking for room 120 for my induction ceremony. Staff: Oh, it is in the office at the end of the hallway on the far left. *Walking towards office with puzzled face* -Me: Excuse me, where is the induction ceremony going to be held? -Adviser: There is no induction ceremony, this is where you pick up your new membership materials. -Me: Oh, well I already picked up my materials prior to the ceremony. -Adviser asks my sister next to me: Are you here to pick up your materials? -Me with sass: Oh no, she is here as my guest as well as my dad because when I registered for this, I registered two guests to attend my ceremony. -Adviser: No, there is no induction ceremony. I should have sent out an e-mail about it. It is just me and I didnt want to deal with all that pomp and circumstance. But you can have some cookies? I have chocolate chip too. -Me: -___- Uh, yeah, thanks. -My sister: She didnt want to deal with all that pomp and circumstance? Yeah right, thats cuz she lazy!!! I agree! So very unprofessional, like really???!!!!! Sorry dad and little sister for making you come all this way for my induction ceremony that never happened. And now probably stuck in two hours worth of traffic to get back home. At least I spent some time with my dad and sister, trying to make their trip out here worthwhile.
