*Meet Figgy* This very adorable Giant Schnauzer/Wire-haired Terrier (?) mix is only 1 year and in need of a attitude adjustment! However, hes a young, handsome, and bright boy and we know the potential for him to be amazing is there- he just needs a rescue to help him. Figgy is a UTD on vaccines and neutered, and a very happy and playful dog- extremely high energy. He loves playing with other dogs and has a personality that is similar to herding dogs. However, Figgy does not like to share. Figgy demonstrated food/toy aggression on his temperament test. In order to get a better idea of his temperament, he spent a long weekend with one of our staff members. She reported that he is housebroken, crate-trained, and very eager to learn. He would play all day long, he never tired out, especially playing with the other dogs. He has not demonstrated possessiveness in the home, but we believe that once he is comfortable that behavior may again emerge. Our trainer who evaluated him was able to correct the guarding behavior quickly, so we do believe that he can be helped and be successful- he just needs the right rescue to give him a chance.
