Now Herlima realized she wasnt the one to choose when to fall in love and who to fall in love with.... She realized love comes naturally at its dues time... Now was her time to leave her glamourous world and take love on an adventure. This young cute talanted gentleman was no ordinary man. He had charms that could sway you in seconds and leave you breathless for life.... Hes name was Johnny Jexter, a writer, a counselor, a social media celebrity... he was good... real good at what he does best... Herlima never felt so connected like the way she did with Jexter not even with Derek her high school sweetheart. He captivated Herlima with his gentility, his sweet words were like that of an arrow that couldnt miss its aim... Herlima couldnt help but wonder how Jexter did it... Was it when he entered the resturant that fateful afternoon ?? Or was it when he gave me that smile?? .... The smile that could make you dream with your eyes wide open... the smile that could make you fall in love... she thought to herself... Jexter met Herlima at one of the best resturants and beach bar in town... the King Davids resturant.... That was Herlimas favourite resturant, considering the setting of the place and the constant whoosing of the wind.... ones troubled mind could easily find solace and the atmosphere was just too condusive for Herlima... After meeting Jexter... Everything about Herlima changed gradually... the more time they spent together the more reasons Herlima saw to change her lifestyle.... As the months went by with Jexter Herlima ceased communication with all the rich and generous guys in her life... she got hundreds of messages and missed calls from them all. she got several messages on her whatsapp, facebook and sms.... Then after 6 weeks she got the zeal to call them and tell them the whole truth... Mr Adrews almost went mad when Herlima finally called and broke up with him... he said Lord have Mercy baby H, na so u do me??? Ah titi me wef be dae warn me but u... R don waste all me salary pan u...if r b know r 4 don gi me wef all dem moni dem dae...look wae e bi dae biya me ba....aahhhh me ar get sweh oh!!! He spat heatedly and hung up on Herlima.. Im sorry Mr Andrews but Thank God youve regained ur senses She sighed....feeling at ease. Chief Zukai was angry he loved Herlima but considering his age he knew he didnt stand a chance to marry Herlima but he sure understood what it meant when true love was knocking.... All he said was Herlima Herlima I wishy u well...emmm it was a previledge to know you... let him just takeyy kood care of you he said in his broken pidgin english Likewise Chief.... goodbye Herlima replied well it went well...more than I expected she mumbled Mr Danomore had already left town... he had no reason to stay.. Herlima was the sole reason for not returning home.... so when she refused to talk to him... or even let him in her apartment (the one he paid for) He had to go home to his mother and sibblings. So Herlima was a changed woman now.... A better, decent, a one man-woman!! She was a worthy girlfriend and hopefully Jexters wife in the future... she was already in her final year at Ipam and Jexter would always cautioned her to take her studies more seriously... Babe I love you but I want you to take your studies more solemnly... You are my Mrs Jexter to be but I dont want you to be depending on me for everything in life because Im human and Im limited...who knows what tomorrow may bring?? Jexter would always adviced Herlima... She would smile and say Okay dad Even when I had multitude men in my life I was focused, how now more its only you Jexter ?? She giggled... so this is what true love feels like im enjoying every bit of it She couldnt help but wonder how Jexter did it !! Though she was warned about Jexters cunning and manipulative nature with women... by people who knew him and some of his quondam victims but poor ignorant Herlima took no heed to any of it.. Even Bilal, one of Jexters friend had cautioned her but she failed to listen. Enti e tranga yes wait make Jexter put pehpeh na e yay na e go sabi Bilal muttered. She was intoxicated with Jexters love leaving her blind to all the visible evidence that surrounded her... Thou Jexter had his vices but she saw the better side of him.... How Herlima changed no one knew or could elaborate deeply on that... Her former glory was bestowed upon her... People who liked her were pleased at her tremendous change... those who loved the glamorous Herlima despised the new Herlima...some called her a fool some say she was bewitched or something. But she paid no attention to them. Oh yes!! she was still beautiful with all that curvaceousness backed with the beauty of a goddess.... But Herlima has left her glamourous world, her world of fantasy to live a simple and a decent life with Jexter. As far as Herlima was concerned Jexter was the One he had to be!!! Who is Jexter???
