Members Meeting for MAM Constitution - September 27, 2014 As a mandatory requirement from the Government of Canada, all federally incorporated not-for-profits must transition to the new Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act by Oct 17, 2014. All Not-For-Profits, that do complete the transition to the new act by the above mentioned deadline, would get dissolved by the Corporations Canada. Muslim Association of Milton has taken measures to become compliant with the new act and therefore, would like to review the updated MAM constitution draft with all of its members. Muslim Association of Milton is holding a members meeting on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 4269 Regional Rd. 25, Oakville at 4:00 PM, to review and approve the draft of New Constitution. The final constitution will be submitted to Industry Canada after approval by October 7, 2014 to avoid any repercussions in the future. All of you are humbly requested to feel the sensitivity of the matter and study the draft of MAM Constitution below for final review.
