[Miracles of a Barelvi Peer Saab – A Must Read Story] There is a Barelvi peer who is the Imaam of local Barelvi masjid and married to a woman who apparently is not a Barelvi One day not so long ago, the Barelvi peer had a few of his friends come over to his house as he was having a social spiritual gathering. So the Barelvi peer asked his wife to make lamb biryani, which she did It happened to be ‘Asr time when she was finished with cooking, so she went and told her husband to take his friends and go to offer ‘Asr salaah at the Masjid, then she would dish the food out when they got back home The Barelvi peer objected to this and requested his friends sit in a circle, close their eyes and link hands, say some chants and it would be as though their salaah was accepted in Madinah. So this is what they did After they were done, the peer’s wife came back from the kitchen with a large pot of lamb biryani, laid it out on the floor and her husband started dishing it out Confused, her husband got a bit irate and said to his wife: “What is the meaning of this!? I asked for lamb biryani but there is only rice in this!?” To which his wife replied: “You can close your eyes and take everyone to Madinah but you can’t even open your eyes and see the lamb is at the bottom of the pot under all of the rice!” And these are the miracles of esteemed peer saab worldwide :)
