~ Misguided Pseudo-Intellectuals! The committee of Islamia Musjid in Lansdowne, Cape Town, must be feeling highly embarrassed for allowing a certain Muslim Professor to present the Jumuah lecture last week. In a nutshell, he was saying that Islam means Peace and so Muslims should all become like a certain Palestinian he knows, whose entire family was wiped out by Israeli missiles, yet he completed his degree at an Israeli university and holds NO GRUDGES against the Zionist regime! What the heck is wrong with some of our Muslims? This kind of Pacifist Sufism has nothing to do with Islam and has no basis in the Quran and Sunnah. Is a good Muslim supposed to be taking the oppression and brutality of Kuffaar, while smiling and saying Shukran?! It just shows how misguided some of our Western-educated intellectuals are. But Allah says: And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allah, and for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women and children whose cry is: Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help. - Surah an-Nisa : 75 A real Muslim praises the true Mujaahideen and prays for their victory against the enemies of Islam. May Allah accept us to be in their ranks one day, behind a righteous, wise and tolerant Ameer, aameen.
