“Monday Afternoon Club”, from the 11/25/1926 Barber County Index: The Monday Afternoon Club met Nov. 22 with Mrs. E.H. Nixon on North Walnut. Fifteen members were present. Nov. 22nd being Mrs. Nixon’s birthday she was given a box of candy and a handkerchief shower. Mrs. Nixon is the only charter member still active in the club.
