*Morning News Brief for December 6th, 2014* The Franklin Panthers fell last night in the 4th round of the State 2AA playoffs to the East Lincoln Mustangs 31-21. The manhunt to our south in Rabun County came to a non-violent end as the fugitives were apprehended in a field on Yorkhouse Road in Mountain City. It would be an awesome thing to see a large crowd there on the 73rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. *Weather Update* Patchy fog this morning. Rainy with highs in the mid 50s and winds from the south 5 to 10 mph this morning, then from the west this afternoon. Near 100% chance of rain. Rainfall amounts expected to be between a quarter and a half an inch. Thunderstorms possible this afternoon.
