#MovieMonday #TheImitationGame and #MrTurner WOW. Benedict Cumberbatch and Timothy Spall both create omni-faceted characters with unabashed contradictions (=Human!), thanks greatly to incredible direction on both accounts. Q&A with Cumberbatch was every-witty-thing youd expect. Deep respect for his work, and Spalls, whos melliflously articulate in Q&A. Imitation Game is absolutely Must-See. Beautiful, heart-rending portrait of a Truly Unique Individual, and his struggles to fulfill his calling in a society that was as much an enigma to him as he was to it. Fascinating and touching. In Turner, Dick Popes cinematography is a 7-course Meal. Director Mike Leigh dances with the diametric oppositions of Turners baser habits (Spall employs an astonishing orchestra of grunts -and the uncredited character in the film is phlegm, which seems to plague the masses), with the sensitivity of his exquisite paintings. imdb/title/tt2084970/combined
