~Muhammad Qasim Oryakhel~ 22 years of a wicket keeper batsman from Lughaman who has the ability to play in any situation against any type of bowler with maturity and merit. Qasim started cricket in 2009 but very soon established himself in the front line wicket keepers batsman of Afghanistan. When Qasim was selected in Zimbwbai tour of 4 days matches , many of us were wonder how and why this young man is selected in presence of well known wicket keepers Mhd Shahzad, Afsarar Zezai and Shafiullah but Qasim showed that he has the ability and capability to play international criceket. Qasim also played in Asian games and when he was on the crease against Hong Kong in semi final the commentrator of the cricinfo stated this man looked like a rare natural talent who plays every balls on merit. Really Qasim is a kind of player who plays his natural game and may adjust his batting according to sitution. In the last sixes [Shapageza] tournment Qasim played brielently througout the tournment. In the recent concluded Afghanistan regional 4 day tournment 2014/15 Qasim played 5 matchs batted in 8 innings and scored 364 runs with the impresive average of 72.80 with one hundered and a fifty and consistantly batted well in the series. Qasim was second high scorer in that first ever 4 day series. Along with his impressive batting Qasim was the best wicket keeper with 14 dismissal in the tournment as well. When I asked Qasim of his favriot plyer and favriort shot he replied Mark Boucher and sweep shot respectively and to a question that at which number do you like to bat Qasim replied at any number and also replied that he practised for 5 hours daily. To another question Qasim replied that Raees Ahmdzai is his batting coach while Peterson helped him a lot in his wicket keeping deportment. Qasim may prove valuable for Afghanistan team in future espicially in Intercontintal tournment as this tournment is very important now because the winner of the tournment has to play series against the last ranking team in test and through this associate has to obtain test status.
