“Muhammad rejected the worship of men and idols, of stars and planet, on the principle that Whatever rises must set, Whatever is born must die, Whatever is corruptible must decay and perish. For Muhammad, God is an Infinite and Eternal Being without form of place, without issue or similitude. He is present in our most secret thoughts, exists necessarily of His own nature, and derives from Himself all moral and intellectual perfections. God is what remains when we abstract from the unknown substance all ideas of time and space, of motion and matter, of sense and thought. Muhammad and his followers are Unitarians.” ---Religion and Society, Recovery of Faith by Dr. S.R.
