~~Mulberry St, looking North~~ If at any time my friends visit my home, your going be a guest ,if you like my quest. These streets have seen ages of traffic, a singular neighborhood, one of~~ Italian Origin~~, then crossing Canal St,. to enter ~~China Town~~. The Peking Duck Restaurant located here in Manhattan, has the finest Chinese Cuisine. This historic area, takes me wandering. You see the population of Chinese is such that one does cross into an entirely new country ,, a city with a city, bordering on a jaunt north one finds themselves in Little Italy. My patron Saint Gennaro has a yearly feast on Mulberry St. As a child we would accompany my Fathers Mother , who operated a pastry outlet for years during the weekly celebration. If you recall the film The Godfather, the feast in which the `Black Hand` is seen walking thru,, then pinning currency on a ribbon,, that was the Feast of San.Gennaro.Shortly afterwards returning to his tenament walk-up apt,, fiddling with a loosened light bulb, these streets are home.
