You know at the #Christafari concert yesterday; asides the beautiful music by this great band… at one point one of the band members who plays the electric guitar (I don’t know the specific name of that guitar) .. He did maybe a five minute piece on .. and he nailed it!!!! I mean the crowd went wild, and at some point I felt we were really looking at him and praising him as the man who holds the gift and then he did the most amazing gesture he just pointed upwards in a way to acknowledge God as the source of his skill.. And i thought to myself in retrospect men… #God seeks to use each and every one of us and the talents He has given us for the benefit of others. They use their music to lead people to Christ, what gift do you have that you are keeping for yourself? share it..The bible tells us that every gift we have is for the benefit of others (1 Corinthians 12:7; 1 Peter 4:10) such that even though we possess it and people will definitely see us by virtue of possessing the gift, it is not just for us but everyone. Such is our make-up, even in our lives, we are meant to live to be a blessing to somebody else; our dreams and aspirations should not only be for us, but every person that God intends us to meet. So this year purpose to live for not only yourself, but others as well.. smile to somebody, compliment somebody’s look, appreciate somebody’s effort at work.. give to those who are hungry, share somebody’s pain and rejoice in somebody’s joy… simple be a blessing!.
