“My words are easy to understand and easy to apply. Yet, no one - TopicsExpress

“My words are easy to understand and easy to apply. Yet, no one understands them and no one applies them.” That warning against the dominant way of thinking was written by Laozi 2,500 years ago. When do we get it that our thinking is failing dramatically? Organizations and individuals fail because humanity’s way of thinking is failing. Yesterday’s solutions have become today’s problems, while today’s solutions will become tomorrow’s problems. How many wars and atrocities do we need to convince ourselves? The problem is not outside; it is inside our brain like a computer virus. It is personal. Our subconscious protects the acquired knowledge and, therefore, keeps telling our conscious that we are fine. Are we fine? The educational system is still indoctrinating students with more of the same. If we do not put in the effort to change ourselves, then we cannot complain about the results. Nemonik thinking might be the beginning of a new way of thinking. Humanity is running out of time. Who is brave enough to pick up the challenge? Cheers, Auke Schade
