#Myth Eating 6 meals a day, 3 hours apart is best for losing weight. Wrong! Whats the best method? Doing with what works for you and your preferences. Small meals dont increase your metabolism...(increased hunger is your insulin at work). Like eating 3 larger meals a day? Do that. Prefer 3 meals and 2 smaller snacks? Do that! Prefer to close the kitchen after dinnertime because otherwise you cant stop snacking? Then do that. Catch my drift? Its about overall calorie intake in a day. Personally, I find it easiest to eat 3 meals with 2-3 snacks as Im a grazer....I dont like going many hours between meals. There is no magic formula, and your body doesnt know whether its 12pm or 5pm...it just wants food when its hungry. Makes sense, right? Great article about food scheduling in the comments.
