#NDP RE-ITERATES DEMAND FOR PROVINCIAL AUDITOR TO INVESTIGATE #SASKPOWER SMART METERS FIASCO. #SKPOLI The provincial NDP is on the attack again this morning over smart meters. With cabinet meeting today, the opposition is looking for them to pass a motion to refer the smart meters controversy to the independent provincial auditor so the matter can be investigated properly. NDP leader Cam Broten says this is needed to truly get to the bottom of this mess. Premier Wall has said the Crown Investments Corporation will look into the situation instead of an independent body, but Broten is re-iterating that investigation is the government investigating itself and thats a joke. Minister responsible for Saskpower, Bill Boyd, says they will not ask the auditor to get involved, but if Judy Ferguson wishes to, the government will not stand in her way
