[NEWS] 141018 4minute’s Gayoon and HyunA cancel schedule in wake of recent tragedy In light of the tragic accident during their performance at The 1st Pangyo Techno Valley Festival in Seongnam that claimed the lives of 16 people, 4minute members Gayoon and HyunA have cancelled their scheduled events for the near future. Gayoon was scheduled to attend Lucky Chouette’s 2015 S/S Collection event at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel on October 19th, while HyunA was scheduled for Steve J & Yoni P‘s 2015 S/S Fashion Show on October 20th. As a form of respect to the victims of the tragic accident that occurred on October 17th, the two members of 4minute decided not to attend the Seoul Fashion Week events. From video taken at the site of the incident, it was clear that the members of 4minute were not aware of the accident that had occurred during their performance. Their agency, Cube Entertainment, released an official statement earlier, expressing their grief and explaining the situation, noting that the members and staff only found out about the incident while on their way back to Seoul. “4minute and its staff were not aware of the accident during the performance.
