[NEWS] 150102 - SHINee′s Jonghyun to Go Solo with First Mini Album ′Base′ Ringing in the new year, SM Entertainment announced that SHINee′s Jonghyun will be the first SM artist to shine in 2015. On January 1, SM Entertainment teased that a new solo artist is revving up for a debut. It was revealed to be Jonghyun on January 2 with teaser images on Jonghyun′s official site. Jonghyun will be releasing his first mini album Base on January 12, going solo for the first time since SHINee′s debut. Along with his powerful voice, Jonghyun has proven his skills as a lyricist, writing the lyrics to SHINee′s Juliet, Spoiler and more, as well as IU′s Gloomy Clock.
