*¤* NOW ¤** The former South African presidents struggle to overturn apartheid was an inspiration to many around the world. Before his death, Nelson Mandela had already become a larger than life figure for his struggle to end apartheid in South Africa. But the legend often overshadowed the real madiba; he was simply a man who saw inequality in his world and worked to make it right. Despite the fact that he was arrested in 1962 and sentenced to five years in prison and later sentenced to life imprisonment, he refused to give up his political passion and with the help of God, he eventually became the first black president of South Africa in 1994. He often repeated this quote to himself many times while he was in rison; I LEARNED THAT COURAGE WAS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR, BUT THE TRIUMPH OVER IT. THE BRAVE MAN IS NOT HE WHO DOES NOT FEEL AFRAID, BUT HE WHO CONQUERS THAT FEAR. Hmmmmmmm........Dont give up now! Dont close that business down! Dont sell off that contract! Dont resign now from that job! Dont stop reading because of academic failure! Dont stop beliving of giving birth! Dont lose hope on your health issues! Dont give up because of difficulties, opposition and criticism! Be determined that you will finish whatever you have started, not by your power, not by your might, by the Spirit of GOD! FEAR NOT! You started it and you will finish it well in jesus name. Good morning.....
