(National Adoption Month) You wanted to know .... How have we paid for our adoptions? Our least expensive adoption was $3,000 and most expensive was $16,000. We paid for them by saving, through sacrifice (cutting out eating out, vacations, anything extra), tax returns, adoption grants, an adoption loan, gifts from family and friends,and fundraisers. Only once (out of 14 times) did we ever have all the money when we said, Yes ... but God multiplied the fishes and loaves. You can find a host of different fundraising ideas and lists of adoption grants and loans by searching, but Im including one that has many of the big ones listed in one place.
