#NeedtoFeedTheNeed week 45 - August 28, 2014 Menu for the night was Nasi Putih, Ayam Masak Kicap, and Sayur Campur, Fruits and Karipap, and Bottled Drinking Water. The childrens menu was Spaghetti Aglio Olio topped with Sliced Chicken Sausages. Everyone also received hand sanitisers. NFN is 45 weeks running. Though the planning, coordinating, liaising as well as PR are done every day of the week (and almost the whole day at times), we rely heavily on volunteers during distribution on Thursdays. We are always grateful, and at times, overwhelmed by the response we get when volunteer call is posted (usually on Monday) on FB. Thank you to all the lovely volunteers who took time out of their busy schedule to make each distribution a success. Your contribution is priceless. 421 or more street folks showed up yesterday.
