In this course (4 x 90 minute class) you will learn: - The 3 elements to achieving good active flexibility - Basic anatomy so you know what you’re stretching - Correct posture and alignment for flexibility training and how to correct common mistakes - Proprioceptive exercises to improve body aware and increase isolated movements - Self-myofascial release technique to help improve movement efficiency - Tricks of the trade that will help you to specifically target your restriction to movement - Foundation technique and skills that will allow you to progress onto advanced and inverted flexibility training - Our unique ‘Traffic Light System’ and other cueing developed by our course creator that make visualising and executing your movement a breeze - Simple measurements to track your progress - A collection of exercises that are designed to improve your active flexibility At the completion of the course, you’ll have developed a good grasp of the fundamentals of flexibility training that will allow you to work and progress in your own time, or you can then sign up to our casual Flex class and continue to build on from the basics and learn more varied and advanced exercises. CASUAL FLEX CLASS *Please note that the 4-week Stretch Foundation Course is a prerequisite for casual Flex class. However you must not have over 6 months in between casual attendances, otherwise you’re required to redo Foundation Course in order to refresh your knowledge.
