**** New Internship Program Available - Spring 2015 **** Tiger Creek has internship availability for students interested in seeking valuable work experience in non-profit, communications and public relations (note: this is not an animal care internship). Students will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to Tiger Creek’s mission to promote animal welfare, and public education. Eligibility: In order to apply to intern at Tiger Creek, students must: • Be at least 18 years of age • Be enrolled in a college, junior college, university, or graduate program or have at least 1 year of experience in a related field (marketing, education, public relations etc.) or have 3 years of experience in an unrelated field • You must be drug free • We are looking for individuals who are hardworking and dedicated Duties include: • All interns will undergo training on safety procedures, and crisis management. • Public Speaking (giving tours is required) • Assisting with educational programs for people of all ages • Support programs, events and newsworthy items (producing fliers, photography, videography etc.) • Assist in multimedia initiatives as needed. • Research/find vendors that could be potential sponsors or donors (for both monetary and in-kind donations If you have any questions or would like to apply for this internship please email the following documents to: [email protected] 1.
